For custom made products, we require the overall dimensions (length, width and height in millimetres) of the item/s the packaging will house. We can offer assistance with your design to give you the best possible performance and appeal to showcase your product.
If you already have a box that you want us to re-create, we will require the sample for quoting purposes (all samples will be returned). Alternatively supply us the inner dimensions of the sample (length, width and height in millimetres) including the lid.
Consider the weight and fragility of your product and if you will be using an
insert or interior protective packaging. The most common thicknesses of rigid
board are 1.8mm to 3mm, if you are unsure we can offer

Please note the following points for preparing your artwork.
Artwork is to be supplied in the program the artwork was created in: Illustrator CS or PDF files and to your desired size.
Please show in the ‘Artwork Channel’ the true name of the operation e.g. Foil & colour, Embossing, Varnish etc.
Files for stamping dies must be in black outline, not in colour. Multi colour stamping dies must have an art file for each separate colour.
Colour bars should be added onto your artwork to show all required print colours.
Bleed your art at least 20mm beyond the finished trim size of the wrap. Bleed is the area of ink or colour that extends past the perimeter of the area to be printed.
Colour: Where colour is to be applied, please make all colour markings by using Pantone numbers or CMYK.
Please do not use “RGB” for colour labelling.
Please double check the artwork to confirm nothing is wrong in the channels.
Any artwork outside of the KEYLINE/BOUNDING box will not be printed.

Various embellishments and print options are available to enhance your

De-bossing: Stamping over a non-printed or foiled area in which the image is lowered into the substrate. This process requires a de-bossing block (generally made of brass or copper).
Foil Stamping: The method of applying an image or logo to
paper using a coloured foil. A raised plate (Block) generally made of brass or
copper is heated and pressed between the coloured foil and the material. This
process “burns” the image into the paper, which in turn is glued to the
material. Finish: Gloss, Matt, clear and holographic.
Note: Foil lining of the interior of your package reduces the permeability of fluids such as oils etc.
Combination Stamping: is the process of debossing and foil stamping on the same position but undertaken separately.
Spot UV Varnish (Ultraviolet Coating): A clear protective
lacquer which is cured by ultraviolet light when applied to a specific area.
Finish: Gloss, Matt, Satin or specialty.
Please note: Printing large areas of dark colours on white substrates can result in cracking of the colour at folds and cuts. Printing light colours on dark substrates may not result in the required colour clarity.
CMYK stands for cyan (Blue-green), magenta (dark Pink), yellow, and key (black). These are the four colours of ink used in the traditional method of printing, called offset printing. CMYK cannot reproduce any colour that exists but it can produce a great number of colours.
Four colour process printing is a system where a colour image is separated into 4 different colour values (called a colour separation) by the use of filters and screens. The result is a colour separation of 4 images that when transferred to printing plates and sequentially printed on a printing press with the coloured inks cyan (blue), magenta (red), yellow and black, reproduces the original colour image. Most of the entire spectrum or gamuts of colours are reproduced with just the four process ink colours.
Flexo printing is the common name for the flexographic printing process. Flexo printing is a process similar to rotary printing, employing the same basic principles. In general terms, Flexo printing employs a flexographic plate (made of plastic or rubber) with a raised image or text that is attached to a roller. A second roller applied a specific amount of ink to the plate. Finally, a third roller keeps the substrate (a material to print on) pressed firmly against the flexographic plate while it passes between them.
Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven
mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas
of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed
through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee
is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of
the woven mesh in the open areas. Screen printing is also a stencil method of
print making in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine
mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced
through the mesh onto the printing surface. It is also known as silkscreen,
seriography, and serigraph.
Inserts are contoured to firmly hold the product within the package. It is an excellent method when there are 2 or more items to be packed together. Insert trays allow for the transporting of the product with cost effectiveness and protection in mind. The following types of inserts are widely used for Luxury gift packaging to fit for various deluxe products such as jewelery, cosmetics, perfume, wine & spirits, chocolates etc.
Foam inserts: Come in a variety of colours, grades and are either router or die-cut. They can be flocked or covered with printed or specialty papers, cloths, leathers etc.
Die-cut cardboard or rigid board: Can be printed or covered
with printed or specialty papers, cloths, leathers etc.
Clean PET Blister tray: Has a smooth surface from which you are able to see through. They also look bright and spacious. PET is an eco-friendly material.
Opaque PS Blister tray: Has a smooth surface and cannot be seen through. PET is an eco-friendly material.
Opaque PS Blister tray with flocked materials: Has a luxurious look and soft textural feel. PS is an eco-friendly material.
Opaque PS Blister tray covered by a printed paper sheet. Has the added benefit of keeping the box design or colour consistent.
Food Grade blister tray: Complies with Food grade standards.
PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride): A plastic material used to create see through lids. It is available in a variety of colours and thicknesses.
